Braiden Green is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPC-C), with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Southern Nazarene University. Braiden has been with Hope Revealed Behavioral Health Center for over three years, beginning as a Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Specialist and Case Manager, an occupation in which she taught coping skills to individual clients and connected clients to resources within the community. Braiden has received training in treatment practices for a variety of childhood and adolescent, as well as adult mental health care needs, including that for diagnoses such as Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and other conduct-related behaviors; anxiety disorders (generalized, separation anxiety, etc.) and problematic sexual behaviors among children and adolescents. Braiden has completed training, qualifying her for certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). She has also received training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Child Play Therapy. Braiden enjoys providing trauma therapy, behavioral therapy, family therapy, marriage counseling, individual adult and child services, as well as other forms of general counseling. Braiden operates from the belief that effective therapy is widely based on the ability to apply theoretical interventions that best fit the needs of the individual client. When working with adults, specifically, Braiden considers herself to be more psychodynamic in her theoretical approach. However, Braiden’s background and training in working with children is more behavioral and cognitive behavioral. At this time, Braiden accepts Medicaid and private pay, which is offered on a sliding scale basis.
