I earned my bachelor’s degree in Family Studies and Gerontology and my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with Southern Nazarene University. I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor – Supervisor (LPC-S)
I have worked in therapeutic foster care with children from ages 5-18 years old. I have worked with reunification of children returning to their biological homes as well as children who were adopted. I have worked with domestic violence and sexual assault survivors in the past and found this to be my passion. I work with both small and large traumas, PTSD, loss, anxiety, depression and relationship issues.
I can and will provide a safe, comfortable and confidential counseling environment where we can work through life experiences together. I treat each person as a unique individual, and we will work together to navigate through emotional experiences in your life as well as any deep emotional wounds or worries about the future. I see a variety of clients with many different issues and confidentiality is always upheld and is a priority. It is my goal to create a non-judgmental, honest, and compassionate therapeutic atmosphere which helps to move you forward. I prefer the use of EMDR for trauma related issues and utilize client centered as well as narrative therapy techniques. We will work together on learning new ways to resolve current or on-going issues.
